General
By using Microsoft Graph, email sent from Coachview will be sent through your own Microsoft Outlook environment.
After configuration, Coachview can send email using any mailbox that is allowed within your Microsoft tenant. This makes it possible to send email from your own domain while still using Coachview.
Step 1 - Create a new client
Navigate to {customer-domain}.coachview.com and go to the MailClients tab.
On this screen, create a new MailClient and select Microsoft Graph as the provider.
Step 2 - Authorize Coachview to send mail
Click the Connect to Microsoft button.
Sign in with an account that has the required permissions to grant Admin Consent for the Mail.Send application permission.
During this process, two Microsoft pop-ups will be shown:
A sign-in screen for the account that will be used to grant consent.
A consent screen where the Coachview application is granted permission to send mail.
After consent has been granted, click Save in the bottom-right corner.
Security note: The Mail.Send permission
is granted as an application permission. This means it is not limited
to the signed-in administrator account.
Step 3 - Testing the connection
Use the Test Mail Client button to send a test email.
Send the test email:
from a valid mailbox in your Microsoft tenant;
to a different valid email address.
If the email is delivered successfully, the Microsoft Graph connection is working and you can continue with the Coachview configuration.
If an error is shown on screen, or if the email is not delivered, there may be a problem with the connection between Coachview and your Microsoft Outlook environment. Troubleshooting this may require an IT administrator with access to your Microsoft tenant and Exchange/Outlook configuration.
Step 3 - Configure the domain(s)
Add the domain or domains for which this MailClient should be used.
When Coachview sends an email and the sender address matches one of the configured domains, this MailClient will be used.
Only enter the domain name. Do not enter:
wwwhttps://http://a full email address such as
user@domain.com
Example of a valid domain:
example.com
Domains are cached by Coachview. Changes may take up to 15 minutes to be reflected in the application.
Configure email groups
In the Coachview backoffice, go to Communication > Mailing > Set email groups and create a new email group.
Choose a name that clearly identifies the purpose of the group. Use an email address with the same domain as one of the domains configured in Step 4.
A confirmation email will be sent to this address. If you use
a
noreply
address, make sure you have access to that mailbox or that the
email is forwarded to a mailbox you can access.
After the email address has been confirmed, you can use Microsoft Graph in Coachview to send emails from this email group.
